Who operates 13BY28

ShunayaVerse Inc., based in Ontario, Canada, operates the 13BY28 app and website. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].

What stays on your device

13BY28 does not require an account or a journal. The app stores your marked dates, saved Moments, colour and appearance choices, reminder preference, and introduction-seen state on your device to provide those features. It does not send those records to us or provide account-based cloud sync. The current app has no advertising, app analytics or remote AI service.

Daily reminders are optional. If you enable them, the app asks for notification permission, saves your chosen time locally, and asks your operating system to schedule notifications. A notification can show Moment text on your lock screen, depending on your device settings. The app does not use a notification server or request a push token. You can turn reminders off in the app or change notification permission in device settings. Your device may delay or suppress delivery.

Sharing is also optional. When you choose to share a Moment, the app prepares a temporary image on your device with its text, theme, approach and focus, but not your marks or saved list. The app or service you choose to receive the card handles its copy under its own privacy practices. We cannot recall copies shared elsewhere.

Backups, retention and reset

Active marks, saved Moments and preferences remain in the app until you reset them or the platform removes the app’s data; they do not automatically expire. The app does not add its own encryption to that local storage. Device protection and operating-system backup or transfer settings may make copies, but 13BY28 does not operate an account-based backup or recovery service.

Reset local data in Settings clears active marks, saved Moments, colour and appearance choices, and the active reminder preference on that device. It cancels the app’s scheduled reminder. The introduction-seen flag remains so Reset does not restart onboarding. Reset does not remove earlier device backups, images you shared, or copies on other devices. Uninstall and restore behaviour depends on your platform and device settings.

Website visits

The 13BY28 website code does not add analytics, advertising pixels, nonessential cookies or browser storage. We use Cloudflare to deliver and protect the site:

Cloudflare processes request information, including IP addresses and routing data, to deliver and protect this website. We have not enabled optional Cloudflare Web Analytics for the 13BY28 Pages project. Cloudflare may process information in multiple locations under its applicable service terms and safeguards; retention varies by data and service. We do not promise a single deletion period for Cloudflare’s request data.

Support correspondence

If you email [email protected], Google Workspace processes your email address, message and attachments so we can respond and follow up. Messages are kept in our support Google Group and delivered to support members’ mailboxes. The app does not automatically attach your marks or app logs.

We review resolved support requests monthly and remove routine correspondence from the Group and support mailboxes within 12 months after resolution. We may keep a request longer while it remains open, or when needed for a legal obligation or claim. This is a manual process, not automatic deletion. Removing messages from active accounts does not mean Google’s backup copies disappear immediately. You may ask us to delete support correspondence earlier, subject to necessary exceptions.

Protection and processing locations

We manage access to support correspondence through Google Group and member-mailbox permissions. Google Workspace and Cloudflare may process information outside Canada under their applicable terms and safeguards. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Your choices and requests

You can leave reminders off, withdraw notification permission in device settings, decide not to share, and use Reset local data to remove active app records on that device, subject to the backup limits above. Because we have no 13BY28 account or cloud copy of your marks and saved Moments, we cannot retrieve or delete them remotely. For questions or requests to access, correct or delete support correspondence or information related to a website visit, email [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent where applicable, or complain to a privacy regulator. We will consider requests under the rules that apply to you.

Children and policy changes

13BY28 is intended for adults and is not directed to children. If you believe a child sent us personal information, contact us so we can review it. We will update this page when our practices change and show the effective date of the current version. You can also find us on the support page.
